Happy Thanksgiving!

Although Winston has yet another cold....he enjoyed playing with family over the weekend.
Winston and Dad

If you look closely you can see Winstons puffy eyes....seems Winston may have an egg allergy. After eating a piece of deviled egg he broke out in hives and his eyes swelled. It went down quickly with atarax.

Weekend in Wilmington

Winston and I spent the weekend at Figure Eight in Wilmington with family. Winston had lots of fun playing with cousins! He also enjoyed going out on the beach. He is growing bigger everyday. Daycare reports that he is taking steps....but we have not witnessed it yet, but I am sure it will not be long!

Winston playing with Great grandmother, Weese.

New cousin, Spencer...2 1/2 weeks old!

Winston and the"big" boys. Winston loved playing with the big boy toys.

Loves the sand!

Yum!

Not so good anymore!

But...I will try again!

Wes, Mommy and Winston....no Daddy, so Wes got lots of play time with Winston.

Winston loved sitting in the plastic toy bin. He would climb in and out and entertain himself for hours.

Sick Again :(

Winston is getting over another bout of sickness. He developed an upper respiratory viral infection which gave him croup like symptoms. He is better but is still coughing at night....which means waking at night....which means little sleep! He was out of daycare until today and has played at home with Daddy, Mommy and Granny, taking turns keeping him. Lets hope he improves so he can go to Raleigh this weekend for Barbie's baby shower! Will post more pics soon!

9mo Check up

Winston had his 9mo check up yesterday and received his flu vaccine. He is now 18 1/2 lbs and 27 1/4 in. He has moved up to around the 20% in both Hgt and Wgt. He is definitely getting bigger and the pediatrician confirms he is a healthy boy! He has two more top teeth coming in. He is starting to give big, sweet, slobbery kisses and tries to blow kisses.

Halloween Weekend

Winston worn out from the weekend fun! Sweet baby!

Winston had a busy Halloween weekend! The festivities started with a dinner party Thursday night....sorry left the camera there so I don't have pictures! Friday Winston had Harvest Day at his daycare, again no pictures....gosh Mom! Friday night we attended Fall Festival at Lawrence academy where many of Winston's friends go to school. Saturday we saw all of his friends dressed up and attended a pre-trick or treat party. The other kids left on a hay ride for trick or treating. We went home to great trick or treaters. Winston enjoyed seeing all the costumes and tolerated his well even with the 80 degree weather! We took Winston to church this morning and then back later on this evening for dinner. He has enjoyed playing with all the kids, but was ready for bed! We shall see how he does with the time change!

Tiger time! Fall Festival at Lawrence Academy.

Love to give Daddy five!

Dad had to tell Winston how he "ruled the gym" at Lawerence, Ridgecrofts arch rivals! Looks like Winston's a natural!

Winston on Halloween on the hay ride. Winston has decided to be a cow today.

Yeah! I like to stand, just haven't figured out how to move forward upright by myself!

Where is my candy???

Oh well, this thing is fun to play with.

Taking a break to get a breeze in this hot costume.

The rest of the gang...Winston is hiding in the back. This was the year of Star Wars!

Weekend Fun

Winston enjoyed some extra attention this weekend from good friend Stacey. He was pretty good during his daylong shopping spree on Saturday depspite coming down with a nasty virus. After arriving home on Saturday Winston's temperature spiked to 104.1. Amazingly he played and ate like nothing was wrong. Winston was seen by his peditrician on Monday and his blood work and flu swaps were negative. His ears were clear as well...so it looks like a virus. He did become a little fussy on Sunday and his appetite dropped, but it is picking back up. We did have a few nights of wanting to be held....all night long...which has led to an exhausted Mom! He has decided he wants Mom in the middle of the night and Dad to play with during the day....not fair. Hopefully we will be 100% for the upcoming Halloween parties and trick or treating! Other than the illness not much to report..although Winston has become a pro at throwing things. He things it is great fun to throw a ball and chase after it. He has also learned if he wants to get an object...or two.... from one room to another he can throw it, then crawl to it, then throw it again. Great fun!

Winston's attempt to feed himself. Anything to get food in him!

Check out my new sneaks!

Happy boy!

Winston has been a busy boy the past couple of weeks. Last weekend he was able to see lots of friends and family, unfortunately it was for a sad event. We lost a special person who would surely of been a grandfather figure to Winston. On a happier note, Winston was able to help celebrate cousin Finn's and Granny's birthdays.
He continues to grow daily. He is eating more table food and wants to eat what we are eating. No steps yet, but he cruises around holding onto things and stands pretty well on his own. He loves to clap, wave and give 5....and play with anything he is not supposed to be playing with. Forget the cool toys that make noise and light up! He now has one top tooth in addition to his two bottom teeth and another top tooth that is almost in.
Winston's first ride on a John Deere with Daddy.

Winston and his boots. He was pooped and past out before I could take them off.

Winston loves to crawl after this little monster. He crawls past it and then waits for it to get to him!

Trying to crawl down steps. Careful!

Winston Update

Winston has had a busy past couple of weekends. He spent the weekend before last playing with Granny while Mom and Dad spent a weekend with friends for the UNC game and for our anniversary. This was the longest I have been away from Winston. We both did great!
Last weekend Winston and I went to visit Weese and Tay-Tay during the afternoon on Friday and then had dinner with Granny and cousin Lauren for Lauren's 21st birthday. Happy Birthday Lauren! Saturday Winston played in Ahoskie and then came home with B while Mom and Dad went to a party. He was able to see lots of family!
Winston is getting his top two teeth in, which has led to lots and lots of drooling. He is standing for several seconds and walking holding on to furniture and my hands...but no steps yet. He is working on it though!
We will be missing Dad for the next few days. He flies out for Canada to go duck hunting tomorrow. We will miss him!

Winston at the park. He loves to swing!
